Meet the CEO
Hello Shooting Sports Enthusiasts,
I am thrilled to have the privilege of leading this effort on behalf of the State to fulfill the vision of creating a new home for competitive shooting sports here in Cody, Wyoming. I have been fortunate to work in the shooting sports industry for most of my career after completing my service in the Army Reserve, and I also have a passion for collecting firearms, hunting, and shooting competitively which have combined to help prepare me for this role.
During my long tenure at ZEV Technologies, a manufacturer of high-end pistols, rifles, and accessories, I held a variety of leadership positions including sales, customer service, product management, supply chain, and strategic initiatives. More recently I led operations and customer service for Gunwerks, a Cody, Wyoming based manufacturer of high-end hunting rifles, electro-optics, and accessories.”
I have been shooting competitively for over a decade, initially in action pistol and 3-gun, and more recently in precision rifle and sporting clays. As a shooter I am very excited about the variety of venues and disciplines that we have planned and am confident that competitors from across the country will find that attending a match or visiting the Complex during a family vacation in Cody, will be an unforgettable experience.
In addition to hosting world-class shooting competitions, the Complex will also be a home for a variety of hunter education, training, and youth programs to serve our Wyoming community. As a father myself, I recognize the value of educating our youth on the safe handling and use of firearms and getting them engaged in shooting sports and out hunting, which is an important part of our mission.
This will be a busy year for our team as we finalize design details, kick off our fundraising campaign, and break ground on building this world-class facility.
