Hello Shooting Sports Enthusiasts,
After months of diligent study, consultant evaluations and recommendations, public input, and numerous design revisions I am excited to report that the site layout for the Wyoming Shooting Complex has been approved. This achievement marks the end of the critical first phase of the Complex development, enabling us to proceed with construction. The Complex site features rugged and varied Western terrain which will make for spectacular and unique shooting venues that we are confident will provide exciting and challenging experiences for shooters across multiple disciplines.
Our shotgun shooting sports venue will feature an extensive line of skeet fields, ATA trap, and international trap fields while sporting clays enthusiasts will find three separate courses of varying difficulty and presentations. Pistol and multigun shooting sports will be supported by an assortment of 20-30 bays of various distances from 25 to 100 yards. There will be a known distance rifle range with targets out to 1200 yards, plus a long-distance rifle range offering shot distances beyond 1 mile and over 1000 acres to engage targets throughout. Archers will have one known distance and two 3D archery ranges to test their skills at, along with the ability to practice in the multipurpose indoor archery/air gun range.
