Project Overview

The Long Range Precision Building at the Wyoming State Shooting Complex will serve as a classroom, storage area, and restroom facility for the long range rifle venue. The building will be located in the northwest corner of the Complex site at the end of the main road.

Scope of Work

This project seeks a design and build contractor for a building of approximately 1,500 square feet.  The building will include a Classroom (~600 sf), Lobby/Anteroom (~150 sf), Restrooms (~50 sf each), Mechanical room (~150 sf), and a cold storage room (~500 sf) with an overhead door plus a 10’x30’ open end wall covered lean-to structure. A concept drawing is attached.

The road to the site is currently under construction but should be passable by the end of September. There is no power available at the site.

Selection will be based on the proposed project plan and project price.

Anticipated Schedule

RFP Release – 9/14/2026

Proposal Submission Deadline – 9/25/2026

Contract Award Announcement – 10/9/2026

Construction Complete – 3/1/2027

Pricing Structure

The Submission should be in the form of a fixed price, not to exceed quote.

Submission Criteria

Submissions should include an itemized cost breakdown and proposed schedule. Submissions should also include a brief overview of the company, examples of similar completed projects, credentials of project team, and safety record.
